In the words of Napoleon, yesterday would’ve been too early and tomorrow too late, so I chose to come today. April 1st, also widely known as “Fools’ day” might have indeed been too early for Christopher Buni and tomorrow too far that decided to pop the question today.
Christopher Buni, a former Kyambogo University guild president proposed to his significant other today after prayers at Christ the King Church, right at the heart of Kampala. It was absolute love in the air that brought traffic to a standstill for a moment as Christopher asked for his girlfriend’s hand in marriage.
Blown away by the surprise, the overwhelming joy rendered her speechless that she just nodded her head in the affirmative as he put the ring on her finger.
I guess it’s true what they say; “put God first in everything you do and it will be a success.”
